Terms & Conditions

Standard terms · no revisions published yet

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing this site, creating an account, or booking a session you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

2. What we provide

We operate a marketplace that connects members with independent mentors for one-to-one video sessions. We are not a party to the mentoring relationship itself: mentors are independent practitioners responsible for the content, quality, and conduct of their own sessions.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

4. Bookings and payment

Prices are shown on each mentor's profile before you book and are charged at the time of booking. A booking is only confirmed once payment has completed; unpaid holds expire and release the slot automatically.

We charge a platform fee on each booking, which is included in the price you see. Mentors are paid out for completed sessions.

5. Cancellations, reschedules and refunds

  • You may cancel or reschedule a session in line with the cancellation window shown at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations inside that window may not be refundable.
  • If a mentor cancels, you will be refunded in full or offered an alternative slot.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several working days to appear.

6. Conduct

You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, abusive behaviour, and attempts to take a mentoring relationship off-platform to avoid fees are not permitted, and may result in your account being closed.

7. Mentoring is not professional advice

Mentoring is for personal and professional development only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or investment advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for a qualified professional. Decisions you take following a session remain your own.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its branding, and its content belong to us or our licensors. Material a mentor shares with you in a session is provided for your own use and may not be redistributed without their permission.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts and omissions of independent mentors. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Session video calls are hosted by a third-party provider under their own terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, along with the date it took effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to the contact address shown in the site footer.
